I am running to keep fairness and impartiality in the judicial system. We need jurists who are mindful of sentencing disparity and how it impacts the community and families.
I already have over 10 years of judicial experience, which other candidates do not have. My background includes years of community service, organizing community job fairs and hosting community events such as book forums and back to school events.
I am an accomplished author. My book, "How to Survive Protracted Civil Litigation" began trending the entire month of July 2024 as a top seller on Amazon in the Litigation Procedures and Judicial Systems categories.
Circuit Court judicial candidates do not run on party ballots and are non-partisan. When candidates file a certificate of candidacy or declaration of intent to run, the party is identified as "judicial" because they appear on all ballots.
"I wrote this book to help individuals and businesses facing prolonged legal battles in an unfair judicial system," says Claudia Barber. "My goal is to provide readers with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate through the legal process and come out on the other side with their rights and dignity intact."
The book covers a wide range of topics, including understanding the legal process, managing legal costs, and dealing with biased judges and juries. It also offers practical tips for staying mentally and emotionally resilient during prolonged legal battles. With 35 years of experience in the legal field, including ten years as a judge, Claudia Barber brings a unique perspective to the book, offering readers a comprehensive and practical guide to surviving protracted litigation.
